Since 2008, when the students of
the Valle del Saja Secondary School started sponsoring the
studies for Sudeep Magar, to nowadays, many things have
occurred, most of them positive.
Jose Luis and Aurora, the couple
responsible for the intervention project in the Nepal
orphanage of Bal Mandir Naxal, did not know the gift they
were giving to a little village of Cantabria called Cabezón
de la Sal. They shared, with the young people, a reality
for those in Nepal who needed economic aid and assistance to
overcome such terrible living conditions.
The adults in the community felt
moved to take action after hearing the stories from the
mouth of the young couple but especially by the spontaneous

Different initiatives started to
generate money that was used to sponsor more students, some
were used for children and others for those who spent their
infancy in the orphanage that we now know.
It was in 2012 when Route6
was legally founded, inaugurating its headquarters in the

Since then, and thanks to having
the donated space, something amazing has occurred. A second
hand store has been established where many families of the
county donate and purchase clothes, books, toys, etc. at a
fair price. These funds are then used to sponsor various
students during their studies in the Nepalese orphanage.
Nevertheless, not only with the
“House of Dreams” are the sponsorships maintained, but
without doubt it is a perfect connector of different and
distant realities linked by the value of solidarity.
Donations, events, and primary
and secondary schools contribute to the common goal of
sponsorships that support the study of 30 people Asia.
To be able to share with the
members and friends of this project, the use of each euro,
is an honour for Route6 to show the words of gratitude of
some of the kids that have already finished their studies.
Thanks to Jose Luis and Aurora
for showing us Bal Mandir, and special thanks for how they
represent the inhabitants of Bal Mandir, who admire them to
the point of considering them parents.
Thank you to the students of the
Secondary School Valle del Saja for inspiring us.
And thanks to all and each one
of the different friends, members, companies, institutions,
and educational centers which help make our mission
Using EDUCATION as a
transformative tool for a fairer world.
